Head of Platform Troy Cosey leads a team that provides advising support and resources to the 30+ funds and 1,000+ startups inside Kapor Center Investments’s portfolio. Before joining KCI, Cosey cofounded Strive, a Kapor Capital-backed learning platform aimed at helping companies develop managers and underrepresented talent that has since been acquired by FranklinCovey. Cosey has spent the past 15 years leading strategic GTM initiatives and moonlighting as an advocate for equity and inclusion across organizations like LinkedIn and Target. Born and raised in Oakland, his professional mission is to help use technology to economically empower underrepresented communities.
