Scott Peterson, MS, PLS, CFedS

Assistant Professor, Geomatics Engineering

Scott Peterson received a BS in Biology from Birgham Young University. He continued with his education, receiving an Associates Degree in Surveying Technology (Salt Lake Community College) and a Masters of Science ain Geomatics Engineering (Purdue University), where he was also a PhD candidate. Scott has been teaching at CSU Fresno for four years, where his research focuses on LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) and Land Boundary Law. In addition to his role as a professor, Scott is a professional Land Surveyor (UT) and a Certified Federal Surveyor. Previously, Scott owned Oak Hills Surveying in American Fork, Utah. Scott currently resides in California with his wife and three sons.
