Scott knew he wanted to work at Apple since the fourth grade. His dream came true when he joined the InterfaceBuilder team in 1999 during the early days of Mac OS X. In 2005, as an original member of the iPhone software development team, he kicked off and helped implement UIKit and SpringBoard as well as other applications for 1.0. In the following years, he built the first iMovie for iPhone, managed the Passbook team and helped drive CarPlay. Last fall he left Apple to take a position at home, building robots with his six year old.
