Rayouf Alhumedhi

Product Design Student, Stanford University

Rayouf Alhumedhi is a senior in product design at Stanford University, focused on the creative space and tech. In 2016, as a 16-year-old high school student living in Vienna, Austria, she founded the hijab emoji project to push for digital representation for millions of Muslim women around the world and was named one of Time’s Most Influential Teens and Forbes 30 under 30 at age 17. More recently, she has worked on a live shopping video startup, written for a fashion magazine (@originalshift), and completed a user research internship with Netflix.
