Paulette Brown-Hinds is founder of Voice Media Ventures and publisher of Black Voice News, transforming the 50-year-old print outlet with data journalism. She is a two-time JSK Journalism Fellow at Stanford University and founder of the IE Journalism Innovation Hub + Fund. Brown-Hinds is also leading a transformation to data reporting through the initiative Mapping Black California, which encourages community collaboration around data and information.
