Liz Carey is executive vice president of finance at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she oversees finance, business strategy, information technology, and investments. Prior to joining SVCF in 2019, she served as CFO for the Oregon Community Foundation, where she launched the first statewide impact investment fund and Oregon's first social impact bond. Carey spent the first half of her career with KPMG in audit, tax, and management consulting for private foundations, multilateral aid organizations, and institutions of higher education. She received a BS and MS in business administration from Penn State University.
