Lauren Goode has been covering the consumer technology industry for nearly a decade, interviewing some of the biggest names in tech. She is currently a senior technology editor at the Verge; host of the Verge video series "Next Level," about innovation in tech; and cohosts “Too Embarrassed to Ask” on Recode radio with Kara Swisher.
Prior to the Verge, Lauren was managing editor of consumer tech coverage at Recode and was a senior tech reviewer at AllThingsD. Before that, she worked as a multimedia producer and reporter at the Wall Street Journal, where she helped launch its live-streaming video programming and produced and cohosted the "Digits" technology show. She started her career working from the ground up in television.
Lauren earned a bachelor's degree from Clark University and her master's degree in journalism from Stanford University.
