Kim is currently a Product Quality Manager for a semiconductor / solar equipment manufacturer based in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He spent 20+ years in Product Management for a major test equipment supplier, working on test strategies with global manufacturers for outsourcing PC's, consumer electronics, mobile phones and automotive electronics. His first job out of school was designing avionics, and when he travels with colleagues he enjoys telling them that he has designed several PCBA's for Boeing 767/757's, just after they are strapped down and heading down the runway.
As a byproduct of the time he spent on PLATO, he holds BS & MS degrees in Electrical Engineering as well as an MBA, all from the University of Illinois / Urbana-Champaign.
He enjoys biking in Colorado. Kim is married with 4 children and will soon become a grandfather for the first time.
