Kevin Driscoll

Kevin Driscoll is an assistant professor of media studies at the University of Virginia where he specializes in technology, culture, and communication. His recent research traces alternatives histories of the internet—from dial-up BBSs and amateur radio, to CompuServe and Minitel. Kevin holds a PhD from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California and a Master of Science degree from Comparative Media Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
