Kate Greene

Since 2005, Kate Greene has been the information technology editor at MIT’s Technology Review magazine and Website, where she guides coverage of hardware, software, and the Internet. Prior to Technology Review, Kate wrote for Science News as well as The Economist where she was the recipient of the Richard Casement internship awarded each summer to a scientist interested in journalism. She has moderated numerous panels and public discussions including those at Technology Review's annual EmTech conference and at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. Before she became a journalist, Kate earned a masters degree in physics from the University of Kansas, graduated with honors from Saint Mary College in Leavenworth, Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and minors in mathematics and biology.
