Julien Mailland is an assistant professor of telecommunications at the Indiana University Media School. He focuses on internet policy, which he approaches from a historical and a cross-country comparative perspective. He also has been a lawyer in the financial technologies and internet industries for nearly 20 years. Julien holds a PhD from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California and law degrees from New York University and the University of Paris (Assas).
