Diane Souvaine

Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics, Tufts University and Trustee, CHM

Diane L. Souvaine is a professor of computer science and adjunct professor of mathematics at Tufts University. She has also served as senior advisor to the provost, vice provost for research, and chair of the Department of Computer Science. Prior to Tufts, Souvaine was a member of the Rutgers University faculty for 12 years. Souvaine was appointed to the National Science Board (NSB) in 2008 and served as its chair from 2018–2020. She was appointed to the NSB by President Bush in 2008 and reappointed by President Obama in 2014.
