David Reiman grew up in Denver, Colorado. After college, he spent eight years in education on the East Coast, spending most of that time as a math teacher. He followed his wife to the Bay Area in 2013 when she took a job in San Francisco, and he decided to make the transition from teaching to programming. After a three-month "boot camp," he took a job with an educational technology company before moving to Credit Karma in October 2014. At Credit Karma he helps users to find the best ways to pay off credit card debt and to become their best financial selves. In his free time he enjoys running and solving crossword puzzles.
