Dave Paulsen has over 30 years of high-technology development experience with many of Silicon Valley's leading product companies including National Semiconductor, Apple Computer, GRiD Systems, NeXT Computer, and Agilis Corporation. Mr. Paulsen was a cofounder of GRiD Systems and Agilis Corporation. In 1990, he founded SET Engineering and continued product development for companies including Xerox, Oki Telecommunications, Silicon Graphics, Palm Computing and DirecTV Broadband. In 2005 Mr. Paulsen joined Sanmina-SCI Corporation and currently is Vice President of Engineering for the newly formed New Technology and Ventures Division.
Mr. Paulsen has been responsible for leading the hardware development of several standards setting computing products, including portable computers at GRiD Systems, workstations at NeXT Computer and PDA technology for Palm Computing. Mr. Paulsen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1973.
