Carol Hankins began her professional career working at Xerox PARC while getting her Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. After spending seven years at PARC, she decided to focus her software skills on building products. Over the course of her career, she has been a software development manager at Zilog, GRiD, and Xerox, a product marketing manager / program manager at GRiD, Pen Pal, and Unisys, and she ran her own company that designed and developed pen-based applications. She is currently employed at Palm, Inc. as a process development manager.
