Bruce McCormick

Bruce McCormick was the Product Marketing Manager for Intel's Non-Volatile Memory business for the world's first successful flash memory devices, which were based on NOR flash and introduced with a 256 Kbit device in April 1988. Other members of this flash memory team were Dr. Richard Pashley, Dr. Stefan Lai, and Niles Kynett. Bruce earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Purdue University in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He had a 36-year career at Intel Corp., including as an engineering executive and microprocessor marketeer. Bruce passed on in 2014.
