Alok Patel is a physician, television host, medical journalist, and an advocate for public health. He is on faculty as a pediatric hospitalist at Stanford Children's Hospital, hosts programs for PBS and Nova, and is a medical contributor for ABC News, where he has a segment, appropriately named "Patel It Like It Is."
