Supporting Membership Policies

Thank you for supporting our mission to decode technology. Below, you’ll find a guide to the benefits and policies associated with your Supporting Membership. Please take a moment to review these policies to make the most of your membership. If you have any questions, our membership team can assist you.

Eligibility and Terms

• You must be 18 years or older to sign up for a Supporting Membership.
• Supporting Memberships are active for 12 months from the date of financial contribution.
• Supporting Memberships end 12 months from the date of their latest financial contribution.
• One Supporting Membership covers two people from the same household.
• There is one primary supporting member identified per household and determined by who made the donation. Primary Member can be assigned upon request.
• An email address is required to receive a Supporting Membership.
• The minimum amounts that qualify for Supporting Membership are:
  • A monthly recurring gift of $5 or more
  • An annual recurring gift of $15 or more
  • A one-time gift of $15 or more

Benefits

• Supporting Members whose financial contribution of $15 or more, or who are enrolled in recurring giving, enjoy the following benefits:
  • A subscription to CHM quarterly Member newsletters  
  • Invitations to members-only event receptions
  • 50% discount on full-priced adult tickets per visit 
  • 10% discount at the Museum store and café
• Supporting Membership benefits are exclusive to members living in the same household.
• Only the identified primary supporting member on the household will be able to redeem benefits online.
• Supporting Membership benefits are subject to change at any time.
• Supporting Membership benefit eligibility can change at any time.
• Supporting Members must be present to receive their benefits at check-in but do not need to be present for the entire visit.
• Supporting Membership benefits cannot be combined with other Museum benefits.

Use and Access

• Members’ visiting hours are the same as public operating hours.
• Supporting Members must present their ID to receive discounts and benefits.
• Supporting Members do not need to reserve tickets in advance to ensure entry.
• Supporting Members can receive a ticketing discount on two tickets per transaction within 24 hours.
• Supporting Memberships may be tax deductible; please check with your financial advisor.

Additional Policies

• Supporting Memberships are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
• The Museum does not participate in reciprocal membership programs.
