Annual Fund Coordinator

Position Summary

The Annual Fund Coordinator will provide critical support to the Development team, in particular to expand annual fund and membership. This individual must be results-oriented and able to demonstrate outstanding project management capabilities and the skills to manage vertically and horizontally.

This position will have calendaring responsibility for the Vice President and Development team, as needed. The Annual Fund Coordinator reports to the Director of Philanthropy - Annual Fund and Membership and is a key member of the development team.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable about the Computer History Museum’s mission, exhibits, programs, and long-range plans, and stay current with the functioning of the entire institution.
  • Responsible for assuring accuracy of data in the Salesforce database and retrieving accurate reports as requested.
  • Contribute to organization, project management and execution of development initiatives, projects, and events.
  • Coordinate development activities with internal CHM teams and stakeholders as well as external contractors, partners, supporters, and others.
  • Responsible for information tracking, reporting, organization, and evaluation.
  • Assist with communication, follow-up and feedback.
  • Participate in development outreach efforts in coordination with Museum team.
  • Track expenses and assist with reimbursements.
  • Prepare documents and presentations, from draft to formatting and editing, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to Vice President and Development team as needed, such as organizing meetings, calendaring, preparing documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fundraising and computing history expertise not required, but interest in the Museum’s content and mission strongly preferred.
  • Results-oriented team player with optimistic attitude who takes initiative as an independent worker and embodies CHM core mission.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficient in database management, preferably in Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other office software.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work accurately under deadlines; highly organized and methodical.
  • Creative thinking, with critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility/adaptability and a knack for thinking on your feet.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 Annually
