Wade Loo

KPMG LLP (Retired)

Wade Loo is a retired KPMG audit partner. During 30 years at KPMG, he worked with companies ranging from emerging startups to multinationals in the United States and internationally. Prior to retiring from KPMG, Wade served as the senior partner in charge of audit for the Northern California business unit.

Wade currently serves on the board and is Chair of the Audit Committee of NYSE listed Hercules, Capital, Inc. Hercules provides financing to venture backed technology and life science companies. He is also the Board Chair for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, which is the largest community foundation in the USA. Wade is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of JobTrain, an organization that helps people in need in East Palo Alto and surrounding communities find meaningful jobs.

Wade is past Chair of the Daniels College of Business Executive Advisory Board at the University of Denver. In addition, he is past co-president of Ascend, an organization focused on Pan-Asian leadership development.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs, Wade received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Denver.
