Kirsten Tashev leads CHM’s collections, curatorial, programming, exhibits, and media teams. Tashev has led the development of CHM’s digital and physical exhibitions, increased digital access to the museum’s collection and has played a key role in the Museum’s strategic development since 2000. Tashev is an experienced museum professional who has helped shape dozens of museums across the country for 30 years. She has worked both for museums in key leadership roles and as an exhibit design and museum planning consultant. Her work focuses on creating world class museum experiences, broad digital access to content and collection and building productive and happy multidisciplinary teams. She is an advocate for the unique role museums play in society and how they can help audiences explore their connections to the past, present and future.
