Ramona Ortega founded the financial tech company Mi Dinero Mi Futuro (My Money My Future), to provide culturally relevant financial content and resources, to empower Latinas to manage their money with confidence. As CEO, she leads a mission-driven company that strives to understand and respond to cultural values and beliefs regarding money management in order to support Latinx communities to grow individual and collective wealth.
Prior to founding her company, Ramona decided to make a career shift in her 30’s and went to law school while raising a family and pursuing other passions. Ramona is a community-minded leader and advocate, and is also a member of the Experts of Color Network for Closing the Racial Wealth Gap Initiative, Lesbians Who Tech, and the Latino Startup Alliance.
