Daniela Hernandez is the digital science editor for the Wall Street Journal. She covers basic research and technology for print and video. While at the Journal, Hernandez has written about artificial intelligence across multiple industries, including healthcare and financial services. She has also covered disparities, environmental science, robotics, genetics and infectious disease. Before joining the Journal, she wrote for WIRED and Kaiser Health News. She holds a PhD in neurobiology from Columbia University.
