Vijay Nagarajan is a Senior Director, Product Marketing for Broadcom Limited’s Wireless Connectivity Business Unit. He is responsible for Broadcom’s Wi-Fi & Bluetooth products used in phones and tablets. Prior to his role at Broadcom, he was with Atheros Communications and Denver-based Tensorcomm Incorporated, working on various wireless technologies including CDMA-based 3G networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Mr.Nagarajan is also a well-cited Wireless Industry Analyst whose opinions and analysis of the mobile phone market and value chain have been referenced in several online publications including Forbes, EETimes, & thestreet.com.
Mr. Nagarajan has over 40 patents on mobile receiver architecture and design techniques for 3G and 4G networks. Mr. Nagarajan also has multiple peer-reviewed international technical papers, including IEEE publications, in coding techniques for wireless and storage systems.
Mr. Nagarajan holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a BS degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy, (Anna University) India.
