Russell Kelban brings over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications, and brand strategy to the Computer History Museum, with leadership across technology, gaming, entertainment, and the performing arts. He most recently served at the San Francisco Symphony, The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, and the Oregon Symphony, leading audience development, revenue generation, public relations, and the full customer experience. At the San Francisco Symphony, he launched SoundBox, a multimedia concert series that attracted new, younger, and more diverse audiences. Previously, he held senior marketing roles at The Walt Disney Company, NBCUniversal, Virgin Interactive Entertainment, and Paramount Pictures, driving the home entertainment debut of franchises such as Marvel, Transformers, and Mission: Impossible. Earlier, he held global marketing leadership roles at Discreet, a division of Autodesk, and Macromedia (now Adobe), creating new corporate branding for both companies and leading worldwide marketing for ground-breaking software including Flash, Dreamweaver and 3ds Max.
