Peter Karpas is the co-founder & CEO of Starsona, the website and app where fans can purchase personalized, one-of-a-kind video greetings, announcements, and Q&As from their favorite stars – whether they are athletes, music & movie stars, astronauts, or their favorite YouTuber.
Prior to Starsona, Peter's was the SVP, Global Head of Small & Medium Business Products for First Data, the commerce company that businesses in nearly 70 countries trust to secure and process nearly 2,000 financial transactions per second, totaling $1.8 trillion a year.
Peter came to First Data from Xero, the global small business cloud accounting company, where he was the CEO, N. America. Prior to that, he was the General Manager for Small & Medium Business for PayPal, where he was responsible for driving all of PayPal’s small business efforts in N. America.
Prior to PayPal, Peter spent over 10 years at Intuit in various roles, including being Intuit’s Chief Marketing and Product Management Officer, and General Manager for the QuickBooks Verticals, Quicken, and Quicken Health businesses.
Peter earned his bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and his master’s in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
