Richard Vijgen (1982) is a designer who’s Studio f or Contemporary Information Culture investigates new strategies to find big stories in big data through research and design. Richard Vijgen makes interactive data visualisations and installations ranging from microscopic to architectural in scale and uses code, pixels and 3D printers to describe the world. His studio initiates and participates in research projects and works with clients to design and produce works that connect the digital realm with social and physical space. In addition, he writes about digital culture and teaches Information Design and Interactive Architecture at the Arnhem School of Art and Design [NL] and the Design Academy in Eindhoven [NL].

Richard's work has been recognized internationally by Ars Electronica, ZKM, Rhizome.org and the Dutch Design Awards.
