Lindsay Westerfield is a NASA Ames Information Security Specialist, conducting IT Security research into phishing, IoT, industrial controls, and process improvement. As a project specialist, she conducted agency phishing education exercises and web security initiatives, and she launched an IT Security service catalog for the center. Lindsay earned her Electrical Engineering degree from UC San Diego, holds Information System Security (CISSP) and GSEC certifications, and has trained in malware analysis and social engineering. Prior to civil service, she worked primarily in defense contracting for the US Air Force Headquarters in Europe. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys knitting, baking, and spending time with her husband and two children
