Kevin Driscoll is an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia's Department of Media Studies, where he specializes in technology, culture, and communication. He joined UVA in 2016 after working at Microsoft Research as a postdoctoral researcher. Driscoll is the author of The Modem World: A Prehistory of Social Media. With Julien Mailland, he coauthored Minitel: Welcome to the Internet and maintains The Minitel Research Lab, USA.
