Vintage Computer Festival

August 1-2, 2026

Come and explore an extraordinary showcase of historical computers, from pristine originals to ingenious modern hacks. Computer enthusiasts around the world look forward to the annual Vintage Computer Festival.

Experience hands-on demos of historical systems from the 1960s through the 1990s, learn preservation tips, and try out brands like Apple, Atari, Commodore, Tandy/Radio Shack, and more. 

Your ticket grants full access to VCF-West as well as CHM exhibits, demos, the Bistro Café, and the Museum Store. Hope to see you there! 

The two-day event will take place on August 1-2. VCF hours:

Saturday, August 1, 10am - 6pm (CHM exhibits 10am - 5pm)
Sunday, August 2, 9am - 5pm (CHM exhibits 10am - 5pm)

Parking is somewhat limited, so we encourage visitors to arrive early to ensure ample time for parking and event check-in.

Please note: Museums for All will not be accepted for the Vintage Computer Festival.

Join us for special events on Saturday, August 1:

  • A discussion and Q&A with Apple cofounder Ronald G. Wayne, followed by a meet-and-greet. Wayne will share stories from his time at Atari and Apple, from authoring the original Apple partnership agreement to designing Apple’s first logo and producing the Apple-1 Operations Manual. 8/1@4:30pm
  • The screening of the documentary film, OSBORNE: The Man Who Would Be King, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the film's director Anand Kamalakar, Lee Felsenstein (Designer/Engineer Osborne 1), Mike Healy (Managing Director, Osborne Computer UK), and David Carlick (Head, Osborne Computer Company Advertising Agency). 8/1@6:00pm
