Cristina Morgan retired as vice chairman of JPMorgan Chase in 2023, after 45 years in technology and investment banking. She started at Hambrecht & Quist as an enterprise software research analyst in 1982 and held senior leadership positions with Chase and then JPMorgan, both before and after the 2000 acquisition. As head of technology investment banking in 1995, she was account officer on the Pixar IPO, where H&Q was co-lead. She has served on the board of directors of various software companies and continues to informally advise entrepreneurs through her association with two pre-seed venture capital funds, Shakti and Focal.
