Bruce Daniels started and managed the Apple Lisa’s software, and later was a lead programmer for the Macintosh. Daniels has also held other roles at Hewlett Packard, Oracle, Borland, Sun Microsystems and his own startup, Singular Software, which created relational database management software for the Macintosh. Today, Daniels is a Ph.D. hydroclimatologist focused on water-related impacts of climate change, and has served as president of the board of the Soquel Creek Water District in Santa Cruz County. When he was a B.S. and M.S. student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he was one of the creators of an early personal computer game, Zork.
