Three black and white lantern slides used by Ivan Sutherland as illustrations in talks and presentations circa 1968 and after about his head-mounted display and 3D graphics project at Harvard University. The figure in the lantern slides wearing the display is project member H. Quintin Foster, Jr.These photographs were taken sometime in the summer of 1968, and appeared in Ivan Sutherland's 1968 paper, "A head-mounted three dimensional display," in the Proceedings of the AFIPS 68, pp. 757-764.
