Dave Martin is a Founder and Managing Director of 280 Capital Partners, a mid-market technology Private Equity firm. Previously he was a CEO in Residence at Warburg Pincus, a leading Private Equity firm. Before Warburg, Martin was CEO of two start-up companies, Qlusters, in utility computing software, and Entegrity Solutions, in security software.
Martin was Executive Vice President for Information Systems and a member of the Board of National Semiconductor Corporation. He was also CEO of National Advanced Systems (now Hitachi Data Systems). Martin's first start-up was Advanced Memory Systems (now Intersil), which went public and then was acquired by GE. He began his career at IBM.
Martin holds a B.S.E. degree from Princeton University.
